Position: Weekend On-Call Hospice RN (Registered Nurse) | Philadelphia, PA Location: Philadelphia, PA, and Surrounding Area Job Type: Contract, Weekend On-Call Staffing Company: SAFREST Resources Client: A well-established National Hospice Agency with a location in the Philadelphia area Job Summary: SAFREST Resources is in partnership with a nationally recognized hospice care provider to offer a contract position for a dedicated Weekend On-Call Hospice RN in Philadelphia, PA. We are looking for a compassionate, independent, and professional Registered Nurse (RN) who is committed to providing exceptional end-of-life care to patients in their homes during weekends. Responsibilities: - Provide responsive and compassionate on-call nursing services to hospice patients during weekends in Philadelphia and adjacent areas. - Conduct patient assessments and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. - Manage medication regimens, symptom control, and provide advanced nursing care as prescribed by healthcare providers. - Offer education to patients and their families on hospice care processes and comfort measures. - Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient care documentation, ensuring adherence to agency and regulatory standards. - Demonstrate SAFREST Resources' values and commitment to high-quality care while complying with all healthcare laws and regulations. Qualifications: - Current and unencumbered RN license in the state of Pennsylvania. - Prior nursing experience, preferably in hospice or home health care settings, with a demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care. - Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team. - Reliable vehicle, valid drivers license, and auto insurance for traveling to patient locations. - Current CPR certification. Work Hours: - On-call contract position requiring availability during weekends; specific hours to be provided upon engagement.
