VP, Clinical Development

Vice President, Clinical Development | PA/NJ area

We are partnering with a growing biopharmaceutical company to recruit a Vice President, Clinical Development to serve as a senior medical program leader within an expanding development organization.

This is a highly strategic, hands-on role for an accomplished drug developer who has led large, complex global clinical programs and can drive cross-functional development strategy through critical stages of execution and decision-making.

The ideal candidate will bring:
• MD or MD/PhD
• 15-20 years of relevant clinical development experience
• Significant experience as a clinical or medical program lead, with accountability beyond individual studies
• Leadership of large global clinical trials and complex development programs
• Strong experience integrating Clinical Development, Regulatory, Biometrics, Clinical Operations, Safety, and other functions
• Experience navigating complex endpoints, comorbidities, and/or multi-organ disease
• Expertise in metabolic diseases and/ or adjacent areas.
• Adjacent backgrounds may include cardiometabolic disease, obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, renal disease, or immunology

This opportunity is best suited to a senior drug developer who combines scientific depth with the ability to make decisions, align cross-functional teams, and take real ownership of a program.

Location: PA/NJ area with a meaningful onsite presence. Candidates should be based locally or willing to relocate.
