BioX has been retained by a leading international pharmaceutical organisation to appoint a Vice President, South Europe.

This is a significant regional leadership appointment with responsibility for a portfolio of businesses across multiple European markets. The role combines commercial leadership, P\&L ownership, people leadership and strategic influence across both generics and specialty medicines.

Reporting into the European leadership team, the successful individual will lead Country Heads across the region, drive sustainable growth, support the expansion of specialty medicines and play a key role in shaping future commercial strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead the commercial performance and P\&L across multiple European markets.
* Develop and coach Country Heads and senior leaders across the region.
* Drive revenue growth across both generics and specialty portfolios.
* Deliver business objectives through effective planning, forecasting and execution.
* Lead regional growth initiatives and support key product launches.
* Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across commercial, medical, market access, finance and supply chain.
* Contribute to portfolio, licensing and broader strategic discussions at European leadership level.
* Build organisational capability and leadership strength across the region.

**The Ideal Candidate**

* Significant pharmaceutical commercial leadership experience.
* Full P\&L accountability at country, cluster or regional level.
* Experience across both generics and specialty pharmaceutical products.
* A proven record of delivering commercial growth.
* Experience within major European pharmaceutical markets, particularly France, Italy and Spain.
* Strong leadership capability with experience developing senior commercial teams.
* Comfortable operating within a complex matrix environment.
* Fluent English.

Previous regional leadership experience is beneficial but not essential. Exceptional Country Presidents, Managing Directors and General Managers with substantial commercial and P\&L responsibility will also be considered.
