Job Description
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid — on-site and remote)
Employment Type: Full-time
Company Description
Liberty Maintenance NYC provides full-service building maintenance and compliance solutions for facilities across New York City. With over 35 years of experience and more than 3,000 units under management, the company has built a strong foundation partnering with nonprofit organizations and city agencies to keep housing environments safe, clean, and compliant. Liberty Maintenance NYC is recognized for its 24/7 responsiveness and strong understanding of DHS standards, and is now expanding its client base into office, commercial, retail, and other property types.
Role Description
The Vice President of Sales is a full-time, hybrid role — combining on-site work in New York, NY with remote flexibility — responsible for leading sales strategy and execution across Liberty Maintenance NYC's services portfolio. This role will drive growth across all client types — nonprofit, government, office, commercial, retail, and beyond — expanding the company's footprint well past its housing and public-sector roots. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing key accounts, nurturing relationships with existing and prospective partners, and coordinating closely with operations and leadership to align offerings with client needs. The role also involves representing the company at industry events, client meetings, and business development events as needed.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience in Sales and Sales Management, including setting strategy, building and leading sales teams, and achieving revenue targets.
- An established book of business is required — facility maintenance, cleaning, or property management experience welcome, across any asset type, including office, commercial, retail, residential, nonprofit, and government.
- Proficiency in Account Management, with experience building long-term client relationships and managing complex stakeholder expectations.
- Strong capabilities in Sales Operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, reporting, and process optimization.
- Proven Business Development skills, with a track record of identifying opportunities, negotiating agreements, and expanding service offerings or markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executive leadership and external partners.
- Ability to travel locally as needed for client meetings, industry events, and site visits.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent senior leadership experience is an advantage.
Compensation
- Base salary and commission, structured around the business the candidate brings to the firm. Details discussed during the interview process.
