Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000

Roc Solid Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that builds hope for kids and their families fighting pediatric cancer. The organization is known for surprising kids with new backyard play structures and providing hospital Ready Bags to families at diagnosis.





Job Overview:

Lead the strategy, growth and execution of Roc Solid Foundation's Family Care initiatives by creating an exceptional family journey from pediatric cancer diagnosis through survivorship. The Vice President of Family Care is responsible for ensuring every family experiences hope, connection and emotional support while building scalable systems that position Roc Solid to serve 400,000 families globally.





Responsibilities:

Hospital Partnerships

Build and steward the national network of hospital relationships that connect families to Roc Solid programs.


- Grow and strengthen relationships with hospitals
- Cultivate and maintain executive-level partnerships
- Develop referral partnerships that increase family enrollment into Roc Solid programs
- Expand the national hospital network to increase our reach and impact






Family Readiness

Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of families prepared to receive Roc Solid services.


- Own the Family Portal, from Ready Bag registration through play application
- Manage family intake, qualification and waitlist
- Build and strengthen relationships with hospitals and referral partners
- Develop and Improve referral pipelines
- Ensure families are informed and ready for impact opportunities
- Manage communication with families awaiting services






Family Experience

Design and deliver an exceptional experience for every family Roc Solid serves.


- Own the family journey from diagnosis through survivorship
- Design and improve the family experience across all Roc Solid programs
- Ensure every family feels known, supported and connected to our community






RocCare

Lead the development and growth of Roc Solid's emotional care initiative, RocCare.


- Drive the rollout and long-term expansion of RocCare
- Build and manage a network of qualified therapists and emotional care providers
- Develop caregiver support programs and resources
- Oversee the creation of emotional care content and innovative care solutions






Strategy & Growth

Set the vision and build the infrastructure for long-term Family Care excellence.


- Develop the long-term Family Care strategy aligned with Roc Solid's mission
- Establish KPIs and performance dashboards to track impact and outcomes
- Build scalable systems and processes that support organizational growth
- Lead innovation and future growth initiatives that advance the family experience
- Collaborate across departments to ensure a cohesive, connected family journey






Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of proven senior leadership experience
- A strategic mindset paired with operational follow-through
- Experience leading organizational growth and change management
- A proven track record of building high-performing teams and meaningful external partnerships
- Passionate about creating exceptional experiences for the families you serve
- Comfortable using data to drive decisions and measure impact
- Thrives in a mission-driven organization
- Experience working in a hospital setting (preferred but not required)
