Summary
Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Veterinary Anesthesiologist to join an established Anesthesia & Pain Management Service. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of veterinary specialists in a highly advanced clinical and teaching environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise sedated and anesthetized patients.
- Develop and manage anesthesia, sedation, and pain management plans.
- Supervise and educate veterinary technicians, interns, and residents.
- Provide in-house anesthesia and pain management consultations.
- Consult with referring veterinarians regarding complex cases.
- Provide lectures and educational training for interns, residents, and referring veterinarians.
- Collaborate with specialists across multiple veterinary services.
Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Veterinary Anesthesiology.
- Eligible for New York State veterinary licensure.
- Strong clinical, communication, and teaching skills.
- Interest in collaborative, multidisciplinary veterinary medicine.
