Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for using the nursing process to deliver personalized care to patients. This role involves collaboration with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to ensure high-quality care planning, implementation, and evaluation. RNs provide care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
Responsibilities Include:
• Patient assessment and planning of nursing care.
• Patient education and triage.
• Various nursing interventions.
This position requires adherence to state nursing practice standards and the ethical guidelines established by the American Nurses Association.
Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred. Current unencumbered RN license required in the state of practice, or multistate licensure if within Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) states. Ongoing maintenance of department-specific competencies and certifications is expected.
