Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer II to join a dedicated team in Boston, MA. This permanent position involves performing comprehensive cardiac ultrasound examinations, from normal cardiac anatomy to complex congenital heart disease, in a variety of settings, including diagnostic and surgical environments.

Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac Sonographer II


- Supervise provision of echocardiography within non-invasive lab.
- Monitor performance and assist to ensure examinations follow protocols.
- Plan and conduct comprehensive examinations using lab or portable equipment.
- Establish support with patients and families, explaining procedures and schedule changes.
- Maintain and evaluate lab equipment; manage inventory of supplies.
- Provide instruction on echocardiography procedures and interpretation for trainees.
- Assist in clinical research, explaining protocols and overseeing data collection.




Requirements of the Cardiac Sonographer II


- Completion of high school or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Completion of an accredited Cardiac Ultrasound program in pediatric echocardiography.
- 2 years clinical experience in pediatric echocardiography required; 5 years preferred.
- Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS PE) certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as per American Heart Association standards.
