The role includes the decontamination of items such as drills, surgical scopes, and other instruments. Candidates will be responsible for the assembly of all instruments across various service lines. The sterilization processes, including both sterrad and steam, should be well understood. High-level disinfection practices and scope reprocessing experience are essential. Familiarity with sterile storage protocols and working as a liaison between operating rooms and sterile processing is required. This position involves using the Censitrac tracking system for monitoring sterilized instruments. Candidates should be capable of working scheduled rotating weekends and occasional holidays.
