Job Details
• Position Description: This role involves providing specialized nursing care for pediatric hematology and oncology patients, including comprehensive assessment, planning, execution, and documentation of care, as well as patient and family education.
• Required Qualifications: Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or appropriate interims or compact licensure; BLS certification; experience in an acute care hospital setting for at least one year within the past 12 months in the specialty area.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field; professional certification in pediatric hematology/oncology is preferred.
• Additional Information: The role requires managing care for pediatric oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration, symptom management, and family support, across a scheduled shift of 12 hours. Candidates must be prepared to meet all clinical, operational, and documentation standards.
