Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in a busy Outpatient Infusion Center. This fast-paced, high-volume infusion center features 65 treatment chairs and provides intravenous therapies to a diverse oncology patient population.
The ideal candidate has strong oncology infusion experience, is chemotherapy certified, and is comfortable working in a collaborative outpatient setting.
Assignment Details
• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology Infusion Center
• Location: Atlanta, GA
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks with possible extensions
• Shift: 12-Hour Days (6:45 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week
• Start Date: July 20, 2026
Pay Range- $2000 to $2150 per week
Responsibilities
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and other infusion therapies
• Assess, monitor, and care for oncology patients throughout treatment
• Safely access and manage central venous devices
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, medications, and symptom management
• Monitor for infusion reactions and respond appropriately
• Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary oncology team
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation
• Adhere to oncology safety standards and chemotherapy administration protocols
Requirements
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Oncology RN experience
• BLS Certification required
• Chemotherapy Certification required
• Experience with Oncology Infusion Nursing
• Bone Marrow Transport experience required
• Strong assessment, IV therapy, and patient education skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
