Bone Marrow Transplant Unit Registered Nurse Dallas, Texas. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a 10-bed Oncology Intensive Care Unit focusing on critically ill patients undergoing transplant procedures. The role requires managing complex treatment protocols, including titrating drips and ventilator management, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details
• Position Description: Critical care nursing for transplant patients on Oncology Intensive Care Unit, including constant patient monitoring, titrating drips, and managing ventilators such as BiPAP.
• Unit Information: 10 beds, staff of 4, with a mix of charge nurses and RNs; no techs on shift.
• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS and BLS certifications, BSN or ADN degree, current nursing license in the state, and at least 1 year of ICU experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CRRT and transplant patients (Kidney, Pancreas, Liver).
• Additional Information: Must demonstrate compassionate care, excellent rapport with physicians, and ability to work well within a team. Report times are 6:45 AM and 6:45 PM, with rotation for weekends and on-call duties.
