Job Description
Role: Radiation Therapist
Location: Sterling, CO
Responsibilities: Administer targeted radiation therapy to treat cancer, position patients accurately, operate and troubleshoot radiation equipment, monitor patient responses, and ensure safety protocols. Maintain detailed records, review treatment plans, and collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications: Completed accredited Radiation Therapy program, minimum one year of recent experience, current BLS certification. Preferred ARRT certification and additional licenses.
Skills: Critical thinking, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in PC, physical stamina for equipment handling, ability to work independently, and attention to detail. Must possess visual acuity and adaptability to various work conditions.
Key Duties: Position patients, administer prescribed radiation doses, perform equipment checks, document treatment data, ensure safety, and support patients during sessions.
