Description
American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with a KY state license for a 14-week day shift contract at a hospital-based radiation therapy unit.
Details
• Hospital-based Radiation Therapy unit
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
• 36 or 40 hours/week contract options available
• 14-week contract
Requirements
• Active KY Radiation Therapist (T) state license required prior to start; candidates with a pending KY license will be considered
• ARRT (T) certification required if applicable
• Candidates must have a clean licensure history — no licensure hits will be accepted
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
Additional Information
• Accurately and efficiently treat patients according to physician prescriptions, ensuring correct and safe patient treatment throughout the process
• Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of daily patient treatments
• Performs daily QA and warm-up on treatment machines
• Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
