Job Summary

Radiation Therapist (RTT) Location: Not specified. This role involves providing advanced radiation therapy treatments within a short-term acute care setting. The position requires flexibility to float between units and adherence to clinical standards to ensure optimal patient care.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Must have valid licensure in hand, EPIC experience, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours, minimum 40 hours per week.

• Responsibilities include administering radiation treatments using specialized equipment such as TrueBeam, Varian systems, and Gamma Knife, performing CT simulation, and ensuring radiation safety protocols are followed.

• Required Qualifications: Valid radiation therapy licensure, EPIC experience, at least 1 year of clinical experience in radiation therapy, and availability to work scheduled days.

• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with advanced treatment techniques including IMRT, SRS, respiratory gating, and treatment site simulation.

• Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to work at least 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). All specific scheduling requests and needed time off must be communicated during submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered. Candidates may need to float between nearby facilities and will be required to include references covering the last 12 months during the compliance process.
