Travel Radiation Therapist

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with NYS license, ARRT, and 2+ years of in-unit experience for a hospital-based day shift position with no weekends.

Requirements

• NYS license required if applicable
• ARRT certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of in-unit experience required
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years required

Responsibilities

• Work in the Radiation Therapy department of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday with no weekends
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Uses Varian TrueBeam LINAC equipment
• Uses EPIC for electronic medical records
• No floating or charge nurse responsibilities required
• Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transportation access in the area
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during winter months
• Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays
• No block scheduling permitted
• Open to candidates within local commuting distance
• Radius and travel pay rates available based on mileage from the facility
