Travel Radiation Therapist

What You‘ll Need:

• Associate or Bachelor‘s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program

• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy

• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required

• 2 years‘ experience as a radiation therapist

• 1 year current Radiation Therapy experience

• ARRT

• BLS (AHA)

• Driver‘s License

• Work history/resume

• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date

• License verification

• Copy of required certifications

• 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission

• Taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility

Assignment Details
• Schedule: 5 x 7.2-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Shift days: Monday through Friday.
• Weekend requirement: none.
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• EMR: EPIC.
• Assignment length: 13 weeks.

Location Highlights

Fort Dodge offers access to outdoor recreation and regional attractions in north-central Iowa. Dolliver Memorial State Park is about 10 miles from Fort Dodge and features sandstone bluffs, hiking trails, and the Des Moines River for travelers who prefer a quieter setting. Brushy Creek State Recreation Area is roughly 20 miles southeast and includes more than 6,000 acres with boating, fishing, horseback riding, and one of Iowa‘s larger trail systems. Downtown Fort Dodge also includes the Blanden Memorial Art Museum and Historic Park, while U.S. Highway 20 provides a direct east-west route for regional travel across the state.
