Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,426 Per Week In Franklinton, NC

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year Adult Home Health Experience License: Must have valid state license Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Recent Home Health experience Description: This position involves providing physical therapy services through home visits. Periodic office meetings are required. Candidates must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance. The average number of patients seen per day is 5-6. Each visit and activity, such as documentation and travel, has a different point value. Contractors will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6-8 points daily. In cases where the contractor is unable to meet financial needs due to low patient census, please discuss with the account manager about floating to a nearby clinic for additional hours. Types of cases include Start of Care and Follow Ups. First-time travelers are not accepted; candidates must have recent Home Health experience. Weekend requirements vary by location and profession; please discuss during the interview. On-call requirements vary; please discuss with the manager during the interview. Candidates must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. Travelers are compensated from patient home to patient home. The commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Pending licenses are not accepted; candidates must have a license in hand unless waiting for a few days to obtain it. The position is a true contract assignment. Candidates will be responsible for driving to patients' homes daily and attending weekly meetings. It is crucial that candidates are comfortable with potential extended travel times between patients. Candidates must accept every patient scheduled regardless of distance from previous appointments, as declining may result in cancellations. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of patient appointments. Delayed or incomplete documentation that affects billing and patient care may also result in cancellations. There are no guaranteed hours with this contract. Clinicians must achieve weekly productivity points as outlined. If there are not enough patients to meet weekly expectations, clinicians have the opportunity to be reassigned to other locations to secure hours.
