Job Description
Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in San Francisco, California.
Oncology
~ Discipline: RN
~ Shift: 12 hours, nights
~ Employment Type: Travel
Registered Nurse – Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (C6)
Facility: UCSF Mission Bay – San Francisco, CA
Contract: 16 Weeks
Shift: Night 3x12 (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
Variable shifts; typically rotated every 4 weeks.
2 years of RN experience.
~1 year of recent inpatient Pediatric Oncology experience.
~ Recent tertiary/teaching hospital experience required.
~ Active California RN license required.
~ Epic experience required.
~ Minimum 4 weekend shifts per contract.
~ Must float to other UCSF facilities as needed.
Provide care to pediatric hematology, oncology, and BMT patients.
Manage central lines, ports, and IV therapy.
Monitor oncologic emergencies and chemotherapy side effects.
Maintain neutropenic precautions and infection control.
Unit Details:
~24-bed unit with approximately 20 patients daily.
~ Infants, children, adolescents, and adults.
~ Specialties include pediatric hematology/oncology, bone marrow transplant, ENT, and urology.
COVID vaccine and booster required; medical/religious exemptions accepted.
Locals accepted at travel rates.
Teaching hospital experience required.
