Job Title: Clinical Nurse - Trauma Surgical ICU Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care / Coronary Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days/Nights Hours per Shift: Varies Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current, valid Ohio nursing license Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association Must-Have: - Current Ohio RN license - BLS from the American Heart Association - ACLS from the American Heart Association Description: Provide clinical care for surgical and trauma ICU patients. Engage in thorough patient assessments and monitoring. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Support family members and ensure effective communication regarding patient status. Participate in ongoing education and professional development. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures at all times. Demonstrate the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 250 lbs. with assistance. Remain adaptable to changing patient needs and emergencies. Fulfill weekend and holiday requirements as needed.
