Job Description
Role: The Oncology Registered Nurse provides specialized care to cancer patients in hospital and clinical settings.
Responsibilities: Administering treatments, managing side effects, educating patients and families, monitoring patient conditions, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Qualifications: Requires at least one year of recent oncology experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred certifications include Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) and ACLS.
Skills: Critical thinking, excellent communication, physical ability to handle equipment and assist procedures, interpersonal professionalism, and the capacity to work under pressure and adapt to irregular activity.
Key Duties: Educate patients, administer medications, monitor safety and comfort, respond to emergencies, develop individualized care plans, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
