Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $2,369 Per Week In Austin, TX

Job Title: Contract RN - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Current Registered Nurse license Certifications: ARRT or RCIS preferred Must-Have: Candidates must have Cath Lab experience Description: Contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab. The shift is from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. On-call requirement is necessary for this role. Candidates without Cath Lab experience will not be considered. The unit operates 3 labs with a staffing ratio of 3 staff members per procedure. The day shift consists of 9 staff plus a supervisor, while the night shift has a 3-person call team. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1 for optimal care. The unit performs standard diagnostic and complex interventional cases with high volume. Equipment used includes Philips systems and Meditech for EMR. Ideal candidates will possess a strong sense of urgency due to the busy nature of the lab. Scrubs will be provided by the facility, and adherence to the dress code is required. The team is recognized for high engagement and collaboration. New technologies and equipment are in use to enhance patient care. This assignment offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated and experienced team.
