Job Description
We are seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Oklahoma City.
As an Oncology RN, you will provide specialized care to cancer patients, including administering treatments, managing side effects, and offering education and emotional support.
Key responsibilities include
• educating patients and families about treatments
• administering medications and treatments
• monitoring patient comfort, safety, and reactions
• documenting care and patient responses
• collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• developing individualized education plans
• participating in quality improvement initiatives
and
• adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications include
• at least one year of recent Oncology RN experience
• valid RN license
• current BLS certification
and preferred certifications like
• OCN and ACLS.
Skills required are
• critical thinking, strong communication, technical proficiency, and physical stamina.
