Job Summary
An experienced Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine procedures and provide high-quality imaging services in a hospital setting.
The ideal candidate will have recent nuclear medicine experience, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently in a busy imaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders and department protocols.
Prepare patients and equipment for nuclear medicine examinations.
Operate and monitor nuclear medicine imaging equipment safely and effectively.
Administer and handle radiopharmaceuticals according to established procedures and safety standards.
Ensure accurate patient identification and proper documentation.
Review images for quality and completeness.
Maintain radiation safety practices and follow applicable regulations.
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Follow hospital, department, infection control, and safety policies.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine experience
AHA BLS – Required
ARRT or NMTCB certification – Required
Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and radiation safety
Ability to work independently in a busy hospital environment
Strong communication and patient-care skills
