Job Summary:

Nuclear Medicine Technologist located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This position involves independently performing imaging procedures utilizing complex equipment, applying established protocols for diagnostic purposes. The role requires strong patient interaction skills, judgment, and initiative to appropriately administer ionizing radiation and document procedures accurately.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift hours, approximately 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) approved school of Radiologic Technology, verification from ARRT of program completion and scheduled graduation date, two years of experience, Pennsylvania or relevant state license, ARRT Certificate, Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC), Basic Life Support (BLS), PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73.

• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.

• Additional Information: Performs diagnostic radiography procedures independently using established protocols, administering contrast as ordered, and documenting patient history and exams within electronic records. Demonstrates effective communication with patients and team members, ensuring proper identification of patients and adherence to departmental protocols. Performs all duties in accordance with system-wide competencies and behaviors.
