Job Title: Technician Profession: Technician Specialty: Mammography Duration: 9 Shift: M-F Hours per Shift: 11.5 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Must possess a Client License of Diagnostic Radiography Certifications: Must be registered with ARRT and maintain MQSA requirements Must-Have: - IMAGE EVALUATION - MAMMOGRAPHY POSITIONING - COMPRESSION TECHNIQUES - TECHNIQUE FACTOR COMPETENCY - RADIOGRAPHIC IMAGE LABELING Description: Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography. Demonstrate competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors. Ensure all radiographic images are appropriately labeled as specified by the department standard operating procedures. Evaluate images for technical acceptability and ensure images are transmitted in a timely fashion. Ensure that all studies performed are completed in the tracking system. Accurately record all required patient tracking information into the tracking system.
