Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiologic Technologist Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8.5 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: ARRT Certification Certifications: CPR-BLS Description: Unit Information: Interventional radiology team consists of 4 staff members. The unit has a total of 350 beds. Patient ratios and type of equipment utilized include GE Bi-Plane. Documentation system in use is Meditech. Call requirements are Monday from 4:30 PM to 7:00 AM and weekends for a total of 24 hours. Must have qualifications include ARRT and IR certification. CPR-BLS certification is also required. Typical procedures performed on this unit encompass all interventional procedures with the exception of neuro procedures. Preferred candidates should possess adaptability to a fast-paced environment and the ability to function well independently. Dress code requires wearing black scrubs.
