Job Title: Cath Lab Tech / Electrophysiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Electrophysiology Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: 2 Years License: Pending State License Accepted Certifications: ACLS, ARRT, BLS, CCI RCES, CCI RCIS Must-Have: Proficiency in both cardiovascular procedures and electrophysiology procedures. Experience with coronary angiograms, right heart catheterizations, Impella, IABP, and pacemaker implants. Knowledge of ablations, complex ablations, and advanced electrophysiology techniques.Description: The position requires a skilled Cath Lab Tech/Electrophysiology Tech. Candidates must be proficient in both cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures, including scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. Key procedures include angiograms with complex interventions, CTO, Shockwave, Rotablader, Hemo Dynamic Monitoring, right heart catheterizations, Impella, IABP, ECMO, pacemaker implants, and various ablations. Successful candidates should demonstrate accurate monitoring and have experience with cardiac mapping, hemodynamic monitoring, and interventional cardiac catheterization. Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, is preferred. Candidates should expect to participate in a weekend on-call rotation, which includes 3-4 weekends during the contract period. On-call requirements include 1-2 nights per week during weekdays. The facility operates with a focus on acute care, is a teaching hospital, and has a total of 317 staffed beds. The workload is typically manageable, with a daily census ranging between 16-24 patients. Each candidate may be required to float within the facility to meet patient needs. All candidates must adhere to state licensing requirements, and finger printing is necessary as part of the compliance process.
