Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - License Social Worker-C level

Shift: Days / 8a-4:30p, 8x5, 40 hrs/week

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• 1 Year Experience

• Oncology Social work is a specialized field, needing a specialized skill-set and most often the successful candidate has had one of the following (a seasoned healthcare SW background, experience working in an oncology setting, experience in a healthcare specialty practice setting

• Experience working in the psychological, social, emotional, financial and practical care domains

• Hospital experience

• Epic experience

• Would be need to be equivlant to a Maryland LCSW-C

• Must have Master's in social work

• BLS

• Can consider active advance clinical license from out of state

• Highly prefer experience in Oncology

• Will consider Palliative/hospice care experience

Other Details:

• Specifically: Biopsychosocial assessments, development of care plans and interventions based on the biopsychosocial assessment, care coordination and discharge planning, identification of regional/state/federal resources, working-knowledge of health insurance and financial implications of chronic illness, crisis counseling, suicide assessment, short-term counseling, family meetings, end of life and advance care planning, comfort working in an oncology setting with seriously ill patients and families, comfort with terminal illness and grief and lost

• Ability to work in a fast paced academic health care setting

• Ability to learn/use Telehealth systems and use of EPIC
