The Therapist III provides comprehensive psychosocial assessment and intervention for adult patients within a federally designated Hemophilia Treatment Center. This role supports individuals with classical hematologic conditions, including bleeding disorders and sickle cell disease, and collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary care team to enhance patient outcomes and overall well-being.

• The position is Monday-Friday and supports outpatient setting.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for patients and families
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to support emotional, social, and physical health needs
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support for complex social situations
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on available community resources and provide appropriate referrals
• Assist patients in navigating healthcare systems, financial resources, and support services
• Support patients with classical hematologic disorders, including those receiving specialized care through the Hemophilia Treatment Center
• Document all assessments, interventions, and care coordination activities in the medical record
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Education: Graduate Degree, required. Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of three years experience, required.
• Licensure/Certification: Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor or Clinic Phd/PsyD level Psychologist, required. For the Substance Use Therapist role, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist or Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate with above required license, preferred. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire. Team members in strictly remote positions are exempt. Team members working strictly in behavioral health outpatient clinics are exempt from state approved curricula but are required to take NEC0170 De-escalation Techniques and Effective Communication Strategies within 3 months of hire, preferred.
• Additional Skills (required): Good working knowledge of computers. Ability to care for Behavioral Health Age Specific populations.
