Medical Assistant Supervisor Oncology BilingualLong Beach, California, United StatesStarling Oncology is advancing oncology by delivering highly specialized, value-based cancer care in the community setting.

With more than 400 employed and network clinicians and over 100 clinics and network locations of care across five states and growing, Starling Oncology is changing oncology for the better.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of quality-oriented professionals focused on patient care.The Medical Assistant Supervisor will act as a leader for day-to-day supervision and guidance for the team of Medical Assistants.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in multiple clinics, gaining experience and exposure to a wide range of functions.
Although the primary location is in Long Beach, coverage will be needed at our other area clinics, as well.
Mileage will be reimbursed.This position is a great stepping stone for a professional looking to expand their career into clinical leadership.
In addition to the basic front and back office duties, the Medical Assistant Supervisor will also:Monitor Medical Assistant productivityProvide training to staff and new hiresAudit chartingAssist Clinic Manager with creating protocolsParticipate in mandatory staff meetings as needed.Assist with inventory organization and stocking of exam rooms and labs.Promote Starling's culture of exceptional behavioral standards for customer service.Maintain and protect confidentiality and security of all organizational information gained in the course of performing job responsibilities including but not limited to, financial and client information.Other duties as assigned.Required Experience:High school graduate or GEDMedical Assistant CertificateSupervisor experienceBilingual in English and SpanishThe estimate displayed represents the typical wage range of candidates hired.
