To support a growing oncology practice, the full-time Texas Licensed Oncology Nurse Navigator will provide professional services to adult patients, manage medication therapy, and coordinate care while working remotely from within a commutable distance to Houston, TX. Key responsibilities Communicate with patients to help them understand their disease, treatment plans, and potential side effects Provide medication therapy management and document adverse drug reactions according to manufacturer guidelines Follow up with adult patients and healthcare providers to monitor progress towards drug treatment goals Required qualifications Associate of Science in Nursing (required); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (desired) 1+ years of experience in an oncology nursing setting (required); 1+ years in a specialty pharmacy setting (desired) Current license as a registered nurse (required); pediatric nursing certification and ONCC or ONS certification (desired) Compassionate, outgoing, and energetic attitude with multi-tasking ability Critical thinking and adaptability skills
