ABOUT EVERFUR

Everfur is a pet health intelligence company. We build AI tools grounded in veterinary science, over 50,000 peer reviewed publications across 47 journals plus real world clinical data, that help pet owners make faster, better decisions about their animal's health. Our consumer product, Everfur Health Intelligence, gives dog and cat owners a complete health record, evidence based answers around the clock, and live televet visits with veterinarians and veterinary technicians. We are a small founding team that moves fast.





THE ROLE

You will run 10 minute video meetings with dog and cat owners inside Everfur's televet. Owners book a slot, complete an AI guided intake, and you join with a brief already in hand: the pet's profile, a summary of its records, and the intake conversation. Your job is to make that meeting the most useful ten minutes the owner has ever spent on their pet's health. Listen, educate, answer questions, spot what needs a veterinarian, and route it the right way.





This is a general advice and education role. You will not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and you will not establish a VCPR. In states where Everfur has a licensed prescribing veterinarian, your meetings complement the vet's. In states where we do not yet prescribe, your meetings are the televet experience.





WHAT YOU WILL DO


- Run scheduled 10 minute video meetings on Google Meet with pet owners, booked back to back into availability blocks you publish
- Review the pre meeting brief (pet profile, records summary, AI intake chat) before each call so the owner never has to repeat themselves
- Cover wellness, nutrition, parasite prevention, medication administration and handling questions, behavior basics, recovery care, and "should I be worried about this"
- Triage: recognize when a case needs a licensed veterinarian, urgent care, or an ER, and hand it off through Everfur's escalation path immediately
- Answer the owner's post meeting chat follow ups for that visit inside Everfur Health Intelligence
- Log a short structured visit note that flows into the pet's health record
- Flag product gaps, confusing flows, and recurring owner questions to the team. You are our front line for what owners actually need










COMPENSATION

$30 per hour, prorated to 10 minute meetings. There is no retainer and no minimum hours. You are paid for every meeting you staff.

1 meeting (10 minutes) = $5

6 meetings (one full hour, back to back) = $30






- Every meeting is logged automatically in Everfur's visit ledger. You are paid monthly against the ledger total.
- Reviewing the brief and writing the visit note are part of each meeting and are included in the meeting rate.
- Meetings are capped at 10 minutes. If an owner needs more time, book them a second slot rather than running over.
- If an owner does not show, you are paid for the slot.
- Paid as a 1099 independent contractor. You set your own availability and are free to work for other practices or platforms.










SCHEDULE


- Fully remote, US based
- You publish weekly availability blocks and owners book 10 minute slots into them through Everfur's scheduler
- Evening and weekend availability is especially valuable, since that is when most owners book
- Start with as few as 5 hours of published availability per week and scale up as demand grows










WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


- Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, LVT, RVT, or state equivalent) with at least 2 years in companion animal practice
- Excellent on camera presence: warm, clear, calm, and quick to build trust with a stranger in under a minute
- Strong client education instincts. You can explain a flea life cycle or a post op recovery plan in plain language without talking down
- Sound judgment on what is a vet visit, what is an ER visit, and what is fine to monitor
- Comfortable with a fully digital workflow: video meetings, chat follow ups, structured notes, AI generated briefs
- Reliable high speed internet, a quiet and well lit space, and a decent webcam and microphone










NICE TO HAVE


- Prior telehealth or teletriage experience (Vetster, Dutch, Airvet, Pawp, or a clinic's own program)
- Experience in a fear free or low stress handling practice
- Nutrition, behavior, or dental technician specialty interest
- Bilingual, especially Spanish










HOW WE WORK


- Everfur is AI native. You will work alongside an AI vet tech that handles intake and routine check ins, and you will see AI drafted briefs and notes. Your judgment and your relationship with the owner are the parts it cannot do.
- You will have a direct line to the founders. Feedback from your meetings shapes the product weekly.

SCOPE AND COMPLIANCE


- This role provides general pet health education and advice. It does not include diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, or establishing a VCPR.
- Any concern that may require diagnosis or treatment is escalated to a licensed veterinarian or directed to in person care.
- Prescription requests are handled only by Everfur's licensed veterinarians, and only in states where that is permitted.
- You will complete a short onboarding covering Everfur's escalation protocol, note standards, and privacy practices before your first meeting.
