Compensation Range

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities

General Purpose: Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

FT position, 4-10-hour shifts OR 3–12-hour shifts, primarily days, weekend contract: 10-hour shifts are Friday-Monday, with Saturday and Sunday from home. 12-hour shifts are Saturday, Sunday and Monday or Friday, based on unit need, with Saturday and Sunday from home.

The WCI outpatient clinic is seeking a highly motivated professional to join our telephone triage team. Prior oncology experience preferred; one year of acute care experience required. Responsibilities include clinical assessment, symptom management, patient education, addressing critical lab values, care coordination, and collaborating with oncology/hematology provider teams. Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, be autonomous in decision-making, and have excellent assessment skills.
