Technologist - Nuclear Medicine

Responsibilities
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals while adhering to radiation safety standards
• Operate and troubleshoot nuclear medicine cameras and related imaging equipment
• Verify patient identity, obtain history, and explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
• Assess image quality and collaborate with radiologists and physicians on diagnostic needs
• Document procedures, doses, and patient information accurately in the EMRMaintain regulatory compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
• Assist in quality control, equipment calibration, and inventory of radiopharmaceuticals
• Respond to patient needs with compassionate, faith-based, patient-centered care
• Participate in ongoing education, safety training, and performance improvement initiatives

• Nuclear medicine imaging techniques (SPECT/SPECT-CT, planar imaging)
