Job Description
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Surgical Oncologist to join their growing team at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (CBMC). This role offers a unique balance of innovative surgical care and system-wide impact in cancer services within one of New Jersey's largest and most integrated health systems. Board-certified or board-eligible surgeons with fellowship training in Complex General Surgical Oncology are encouraged to apply to contribute to a dynamic academic, clinical, and research-focused environment.

• The Medical Center and the Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center provide treatment and services for more than 368,828 outpatient visits annually.
• Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center delivers nearly 6,500 babies annually, cares for more newly diagnosed cancer patients, and provides more than 100 medical and surgical specialty and subspecialty services.
Responsibilities
• Provide high-level care in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgical oncology.
• Participate in shared weekend and holiday call including surgical oncology coverage for other northern RWJBH sites, as needed.
• Assist in expanding and marketing the RWJBH/RCINJ surgical oncology service line in Northern New Jersey.
• Serve on the CBMC Cancer Committee and multi-disciplinary tumor boards.
Compensation
• The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $300,000 to $600,000 per year.
• The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
