Sr. Clinical Research Associate, Oncology a MUST, East Coast strongly Preferred (NJ, PA, or MD Preferred), $40-$60/hr, approx. 18 month long contract

Are you an experienced Clinical Research Associate looking for your next long-term contract opportunity? Our client, a growing clinical research organization supporting clinical drug development programs, is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate to join their team on an approximately 18-month contract.

This role offers the opportunity to independently manage investigative sites, drive study quality and compliance, and work closely with investigators and study teams throughout the clinical trial lifecycle. Candidates must reside on the East Coast, with preference given to those located in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Maryland.

Who you are:

• 3+ years of clinical monitoring experience as a Clinical Research Associate within pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO environments supporting oncology studies.
• Strong knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines, FDA regulations, and clinical trial monitoring processes.
• Experience utilizing clinical systems such as CTMS, EDC, and eTMF.
• Proven ability to independently manage sites, resolve issues, and communicate effectively with investigators and study teams.

What you'll do:

• Conduct site monitoring visits including PSV, SIV, IMV, and COV activities while ensuring protocol, GCP, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform source data verification, review essential documents, monitor safety reporting, and ensure study data quality and completeness.
• Maintain study documentation, create monitoring reports, update CTMS/eTMF systems, and escalate study risks and site issues when needed.
• Travel is 50-75% of the time.

What does this position pay?

• Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $40.00 to $60.00 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
