Service Owner – IT Infrastructure & Security MedTech Germany/Remote





A global MedTech leader backed by leading healthcare PE, currently scaling from regional innovator to global SaaS platform, is seeking an IT Service Owner – Cybersecurity & Infrastructure. The Role:


- Security Strategy & Service Management - Take overall responsibility for the organisation's IT security and infrastructure protection services. Develop a clear multi-year security strategy and prioritised improvement plan.
- Infrastructure, Networks & Cloud - Improve the security and resilience of enterprise infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments. Establish appropriate controls for servers, endpoints, networks, applications and cloud services.
- Security Monitoring & Response - Oversee the organisation's capability to identify, investigate and respond to security threats. Work with internal and external security specialists to maintain effective monitoring and detection.
- Risk, Compliance & Governance - Maintain and develop the organisation's information security framework. Support compliance with applicable data protection, cybersecurity and medical technology requirements.
- Working Across the Business - Security will not sit in isolation. You will work closely with colleagues across: IT and infrastructure, Software development, Product and engineering & Data and AI






The Candidate:


- Significant professional experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure security, IT operations or a comparable environment.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture and modern cloud environments.
- Experience with identity and access management, endpoint security, security monitoring and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft-based enterprise environments and cloud technologies.
- AWS security services experience (cloud platform protection, data security)
- Experience working with security service providers, managed security partners or external technology suppliers.






Great to have:


- Experience working within a regulated industry such as MedTech, healthcare, financial services or another security-sensitive environment.
- Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP or equivalent.
- Experience with security architecture, application security or cloud-native environments.
