Job Description
Are you a proven fundraising leader who knows how to build relationships, grow revenue, lead high-performing teams, and inspire people to invest in a mission that matters?
e3 Partners Ministry is seeking an experienced Senior Vice President of Development to provide executive leadership for our comprehensive fundraising strategy and help fuel the next season of ministry growth.
This is more than a fundraising leadership position. We’re looking for a strategic, relational, results-driven executive who can build a strong Development operation while personally engaging significant donors and inviting them into meaningful partnership with e3’s mission.
Reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the SVP of Development will have responsibility for the performance, sustainability, and growth of e3’s broader philanthropic revenue portfolio.
What You’ll Lead
You’ll set the vision and strategy for Development across the organization, including:
- Major and transformational gifts
- Special initiatives and campaigns
- Foundation and grant support
- Planned giving
- Donor acquisition, retention and stewardship
- Development systems, forecasting and performance
- A growing Development team
You’ll partner closely with our CEO, Finance leadership, ministry leaders, Marketing and Communications, and other organizational leaders to establish revenue goals, identify funding opportunities, strengthen our donor pipeline, and expand and diversify philanthropic support.
You’ll Still Be in the Game
We aren't looking for someone who only leads fundraising from a conference room. The SVP will personally manage relationships with significant current and prospective donors, cultivate and solicit major and transformational gifts, expand the major-gift pipeline, and help create a healthy culture of meaningful proposals, direct asks and disciplined follow-through. You should be energized by both
strategy and the ask.

You’ll lead, coach and develop the Development team while establishing clear goals, portfolio expectations, performance measures and accountability.
We want a leader who can create a culture that is simultaneously relational, collaborative, mission-centered and results-oriented,
one where people are empowered to do excellent work and accountable for outcomes.
Who We’re Looking For
You may be a strong fit if you have:
- Significant senior leadership experience leading Development or fundraising strategy
- A demonstrated record of personally cultivating, soliciting and closing major gifts, including six-figure gifts
- Strong strategic and financial acumen
- Experience developing fundraising pipelines, forecasts, revenue goals and performance metrics
- The executive presence to engage confidently with significant donors, executives, board members and ministry leaders
- A track record of building, coaching and leading high-performing teams
- The ability to balance big-picture strategy with disciplined execution
- Approximately 10+ years of progressive fundraising, Development, advancement or closely related experience strongly preferred
