Oracle Life Sciences is actively seeking a skilled Senior Research Consultant to become a vital member of our renowned CancerMPact and Oncology Epidemiology team. Our platform is relied upon by top pharmaceutical corporations to make informed, impactful decisions in oncology through comprehensive epidemiology assessments, market analysis, and strategic insights.
This role is tailored for mid-career professionals eager to deepen their expertise in the fields of oncology and life sciences consulting. As an integral part of our team, you will engage in research, analytics, and report writing for our widely utilized products while also contributing to bespoke oncology epidemiology consulting projects and client support.
What We Are Looking For:
• Advanced degree in epidemiology, preferably an MPH (Master of Public Health) or a Doctorate in Epidemiology.

• 3-5 years of experience in epidemiology analyses and oncology research.

• Proficient in statistical analysis tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS, or STATA).

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel; knowledge of VBA, SQL Server, or Tableau is an added advantage.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ideally developed through a quantitative degree or relevant experience of at least five years.

• Solid background in oncology research with a proven ability to conduct literature reviews.

• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in quantitative epidemiological and scientific analysis.

• A medical or pharmacy background with previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.

• Experience in building patient flow models in oncology is advantageous.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Developing and evaluating methods for collecting and analyzing epidemiology research.

• Utilizing diagnostic and procedure codes and carrying out scientific literature reviews.

• Interpreting complex data and applying it effectively in calculations, such as patient flow calculations.

• Creating advanced quantitative epidemiological models using published and/or registry data, which estimate potential patient populations across specific indications/diseases.

• Maintaining data tables and supporting information for the Oracle Life Science's CancerMPact Patient Metrics database.

• Assessing the impact of clinical, environmental, or market changes on patient populations.

• Preparing detailed reports, presenting findings graphically and translating complex results into understandable narrative.

• Addressing real-time client issues associated with accessing CancerMPact, including handling inquiries about reported numbers and methodologies.

• Collaborating with other project team members enthusiastically and effectively.

• Assisting clients and colleagues in understanding market implications of patient population estimates.

• Engaging with clients and internal personnel, particularly in presenting epidemiological analyses results.

• Contributing to continuous improvements in our epidemiology consulting services.

• Proactively pursuing additional epidemiology-related projects and business development opportunities.

• Working under the guidance of senior members of the Oncology Epidemiology Group.

• Managing multiple projects while balancing client expectations, workload, and deadlines.
