We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Oncology Consultant to leverage your expertise in Oncology workflows and care delivery best practices, especially in environments like cancer centers and integrated health systems. In this role, you will be pivotal in implementing and optimizing Oracle Health Oncology solutions, ensuring exceptional consulting services are delivered in line with industry standards.
As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with diverse Oncology teams, including oncologists, nurses, and operational leaders, to assess workflows, design future states, and manage system configurations. You'll be responsible for understanding client needs, identifying challenges, and driving effective solutions.
This position requires strong collaboration, critical thinking, and the ability to juggle multiple projects while ensuring seamless integrated Oncology operations. You will liaise with internal teams to monitor configuration updates and project deliverables, ensuring all solutions are aligned and delivered successfully.
As a vital member of our team, you will cultivate strong relationships with clients, engage in problem-solving discussions, and support junior consultants. Your excellent communication skills will be essential in building rapport with both internal teams and clients.
The Federal Consulting team comprises dedicated professionals eager to enhance electronic health record systems for active-duty military members, veterans, American Indians, and Alaska Natives.
Responsibilities
• Consult with clients on service line workflows and guide them through interconnected design decisions.
• Provide strategic oversight and direction to stakeholders and drive specific solution configurations that meet workflow needs.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues with solutions.
• Implement workflow and process improvement strategies effectively.
• Lead client meetings and initiatives, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
Basic Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in healthcare consulting and information technology.
• A minimum of 2 years in healthcare information technology consulting or support.
• 2+ years of experience with Oracle Health PowerChart Oncology products.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Proficiency with Oncology PowerPlan build and understanding of related workflows.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Self-starter with strong presentation and collaboration abilities.
• U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
• Willingness to obtain appropriate government security clearance necessary for the position.
Expectations:
• Willing to travel up to 50% as required.
• Available to work additional or irregular hours as needed.
