As the Senior Medical Physicist, you will play a crucial leadership role within our radiotherapy team, ensuring the safety of our patients, staff, and the public while enhancing the quality and precision of radiation delivery. Your responsibilities will cover a comprehensive range of senior-level activities spanning administrative, clinical, educational, informatics, equipment performance evaluation, quality, and safety domains. You will provide expert scientific and technical guidance to resolve complex clinical and operational issues, while also supporting the assessment, implementation, and optimization of innovative procedures and technologies. Collaborating with physicians and other oncology professionals, you will help guarantee the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications:
• Master's or doctoral degree in physics, medical physics, biophysics, radiological physics, medical health physics, or similar disciplines from an accredited program.
• Active Full Medical Physicist (FMP) license in therapeutic radiological physics per the Texas Occupations Code 602.
• Current certification by The American Board of Radiology, The American Board of Medical Physics, or The Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine.
• 5+ years of postgraduate experience.
• Proficiency in EBRT: 2D/3D/4D, IMRT/VMAT, SBRT, motion management (breath hold, SGRT), CT simulation, and image registration.
• Experience with Varian technology: TrueBeam radiotherapy system, Treatment planning system (Eclipse), Oncology information system (ARIA), Surface guidance (Vision RT/OSMS).
• Expertise in quality management, process improvement, and incident learning.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's or doctoral degree in medical physics, radiological physics, or related disciplines from a CAMPEP-accredited program.
• Completion of a residency in medical physics, radiological physics, or equivalent from a CAMPEP-accredited residency program.
• 8+ years of postgraduate professional experience.
• Experience in SRS and SRT.
• Familiarity with Varian technology: Edge radiotherapy system, Real-time motion management (gating via SGRT, RPM, and triggered imaging), Dose Lab QA systems, Portal Dosimetry.
• Knowledge of third-party systems: Sun Nuclear QA systems (DQA3, Profiler, ArcCheck, 1D tank), Radformation QA systems, SNC 3D scanning system.
• Experience with CT simulation, change management, safety culture, and knowledge of Texas Radiation Control Regulations.

Compensation is based on various factors including local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. In addition to a competitive salary ranging from $200,000 to $275,000 annually for full-time employment, we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes an incentive and recognition program, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions (subject to eligibility requirements).
