About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Medical Director for Clinical Development with a focus on medical monitoring. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing hands-on medical monitoring and clinical expertise to support the design, conduct, and interpretation of clinical trials. This includes serving as the primary medical monitor for assigned studies, acting as the key medical point of contact for investigative sites and sponsors, and providing real-time medical guidance. The role also involves reviewing and interpreting safety data, contributing to clinical and scientific discussions, and ensuring high-quality study execution.
Applicants must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited institution, with a strong foundation in clinical medicine and practical experience in medical research or clinical development. A minimum of 10-15 years' of experience in clinical development, including significant experience in medical monitoring and clinical trial oversight, is required. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a medical monitor on Phase I-IV clinical trials in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO setting, and possess a strong knowledge of clinical trial methodology, safety assessment, and medical data review. Therapeutic area expertise in oncology, hematology, or related fields is preferred, and additional certifications or training in specific therapeutic areas may be an advantage.
