Join the HJF Team! HJF is seeking an Epidemiologist IV to support the Center for Prostate Disease Research (CPDR), located at the Rockledge Office in Bethesda, MD. HJF provides scientific, technical, and programmatic support services to CPDR, which has been operational since 1992. The program’s mission is to study prostate cancer and prostate disease through its three principal programs: (1) the Clinical Translational Research Center; (2) the Basic Science Research Program; and (3) the Tri-Service Multicenter Prostate Cancer Database.
The Epidemiologist IV will provide epidemiological, computer programming, biostatistical, and laboratory procedure support for specified projects in the field of prostate cancer.

• Initiate, design, and implement epidemiological studies supporting the research project (10%)
• Manage portfolio, including proposal review and project evaluation (10%)
• Perform other duties as assigned, including required training for the role
Qualifications
• 6-8 years of relevant work experience required
• Proven expertise in epidemiology and biostatistics
• Strong background in prostate cancer research preferred
• Ability to teach complex epidemiologic methods
Education Requirements
• Doctoral degree is required.

Experience Requirements
• Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant work experience in epidemiological research.
