About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Clinical Development to take a leading role in medical monitoring. As a crucial part of our team, you will provide essential medical oversight and expertise to guide the design, execution, and analysis of clinical trials. Your responsibilities will include acting as the primary medical monitor for various studies, serving as the key point of contact for investigative sites and sponsors, and delivering real-time medical guidance to ensure optimal study performance. You will review and interpret safety data, contribute to meaningful clinical and scientific conversations, and uphold the highest standards of study execution.

Applicants must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution and have a robust foundation in clinical medicine combined with practical experience in medical research or clinical development. A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in clinical development is required, with significant experience in medical monitoring and oversight of clinical trials. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a medical monitor for Phase I-IV clinical trials within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO environments. Strong knowledge of clinical trial methodology, safety assessment, and medical data review is essential. Therapeutic expertise in oncology, hematology, or closely related fields is preferred, and additional certifications or training in specific therapeutic areas will be seen as an advantage.
