Senior Director, Medical Affairs - Oncology

Senior Director position leading field-based medical professionals in oncology at a pharmaceutical company. Responsibilities include team management, performance oversight, disease state support plan execution, and regional budget management while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, train, and manage field-based medical professional team
• Conduct performance assessments and develop personal development plans for team members
• Execute and communicate oncology disease state support plans to team
• Manage regional budget and approve routine expense reports
• Support executive leadership with project management and disease support plan development
Requirements
• MD, PharmD, or PhD degree
• Three or more years field-based medical role experience with customer engagement
• Demonstrated oncology experience
• Knowledge of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and pharmaceutical industry regulations
• Proven ability to lead and coach scientific/medical professionals
• Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Compensation: $210,400–$331,100 base
