Job Description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director Global Clinical Development (gi Oncology) to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will support clinical priorities focused on quality, patient-centered outcomes, and effective care delivery. You will collaborate with clinical leaders, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve standards, workflows, and execution. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen care quality, team performance, and measurable outcomes within a Pharmaceuticals & Biotech environment.

Location: Madison, NJ - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $244,560 – $331,907 annually

Responsibilities

• Own and drive clinical development strategy aligned to asset strategies and disease area
• Lead Clinical Development Teams for respective indications as needed
• Provide clinical expertise to strategic planning at the portfolio and therapeutic levels
• Represent Clinical as the authority for the indication in regulatory and business development interactions
• Engage with internal leaders and external stakeholders like investigators and advocacy groups
• Present clinical strategy and risk assessments to governance bodies and senior leadership
• Lead a team in the design, execution, analysis, and interpretation of clinical studies

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences (PhD, PharmD, MS, RN, MD or related field) required
• Deep clinical and therapeutic area expertise with knowledge of drug development and health authority expectations
• 8+ years of relevant experience including leadership in clinical trials design and execution
• Demonstrated success in people leadership and matrix leadership roles
