Summary
The Senior Director, Clinical AI & Data Innovation leads Moffitt Cancer Center’s efforts to translate clinical, research, and business priorities into scalable AI- and data-driven solutions that improve patient outcomes and advance oncology innovation. This role oversees the development and deployment of AI capabilities across clinical care and research, including clinical decision support, trial eligibility, quality optimization, and integration with platforms such as OncoFabric and MCAP. The role also assumes responsibility for clinical data strategy, orchestration, and advanced analytics, including oversight of Cancer Registry and clinical/research data functions.In parallel, this leader drives data innovation and commercialization by leveraging Moffitt’s deep, multi-modal oncology datasets to develop strategic partnerships and data-driven products. This includes identifying market opportunities, supporting collaborations with pharma, biotech, and technology organizations, and advancing data monetization and intellectual property strategy. Success in this role requires the ability to bridge clinical expertise, data science, and business strategy while leading cross-functional teams and delivering measurable impact at the pace of clinical and market demand.

Minimum Field of Study: Biomedical Informatics, Health or Clinical Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Computational Biology, or a related quantitative or clinical discipline.

Preferred Field of Study: clinical, computational, or life sciences field, or an MBA with a strong quantitative and data-focused background.

Salary Range
$221,131.04 - $331,697.60
Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
