Position: Senior Director, Cell Therapy WW Medical Affairs, Multiple Myeloma

Position Overview

Senior Director, WW Medical, Multiple Myeloma Cell Therapy (reporting to Executive Director, Cell Therapy Multiple Myeloma). Provide strategic scientific leadership for arlo-cel (GPRC5D CAR T) and drive global launch readiness across external communications, market shaping, internal readiness, and launch partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead WW Medical Affairs strategy for arlo-cel: global launch readiness, cross-functional arlo-cel initiatives, alignment with local Medical Affairs teams.
• Drive cross-asset collaboration/knowledge sharing across the multiple myeloma portfolio.
• Build relationships with thought leaders/KOLs; engage cooperative groups, steering committees, advisory boards.
• Guide publication planning; review abstracts, presentations, and publications.
• Develop congress strategies for COMy, EHA, IMS; support BMS-sponsored symposia/independent medical education.
• Refine Integrated Evidence Plan (IEP); contribute to evidence generation (ISR/CRC trial recommendations; HEOR analyses).
• Represent arlo-cel on WW MM Asset Indication Medical Strategy (AIMS) team; update launch assets and ensure scientific excellence.
• Provide medical expertise to influence clinical development decisions; act as subject matter expert; support market access/marketing; collaborate with patient advocacy.
Qualifications & Experience
• MD, PhD, or PharmD required; oncology/hematology and related disciplines preferred.
• 8–10+ years pharma experience required;
Medical Affairs required; multiple myeloma required; CAR‑T/cell therapy strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated launch experience (CAR‑T/cell therapy launch preferred); clinical/translational research and drug development knowledge.
• Proven leadership in matrixed organizations; influence without authority; strategic thinking.
• Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills; ability to build relationships.
• Travel: ~20–30%.
