Senior Clinical Research Associate - CNS or Rare Disease - West Coast

Position Overview

Clinical Research Associate (CRA) – Worldwide Clinical Trials As a CRA, you will work with clinical sites to support research activities across a range of therapeutic areas, including Cardiovascular, Metabolic, Neuroscience, Oncology, and Rare Diseases.
Responsibilities
• Manage research activities at sites participating in Worldwide’s clinical research projects.
• Identify potential sites, conduct site initiation visits (SIVs), and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
• Collect regulatory documents, negotiate contracts and budgets with sites.
• Provide site training to ensure proper data collection and accurate safety reporting.
• Monitor site activities during study maintenance and close down research activities at study completion.
• Maintain site file management and regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate remotely and communicate regularly with line managers, clinical teams, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate.
• Four‑year university degree or Nursing degree.
• Experience in CNS/Neurology and Rare Disease research required.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in English.
• Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CTMS, and EDC systems.
• Residency on the West Coast of the United States.
• Willingness to travel regionally.
Salary & Benefits

Annual salary range: $97,000 – $193,000 USD (United States). Salary is based on experience, performance, education, and internal equity.

In addition to base salary, the position includes a competitive benefits package that varies by location.
